About Langkawi Scuba   (PADI S25081)

In 2012 we started exploring Langkawi for the possibility of opening a divecenter. We scouted the many islands around Langkawi for divesites and in 2014 Langkawi Scuba beach kiosk was opened on Cenang beach in Langkawi.

We got a small place on the beach, built a little kiosk and placed diveflags on the beach. People were surprised to find out there is diving here...Langkawi was never known as a dive destination.

Over time we found that diving here is indeed very interesting: who would have thought that there are bamboosharks, seahorses, pipefish, frogfish and nudibranchs hidden in these waters. And we have never seen softcorals, like the ones here in Langkawi.

In 2015 PADI granted us the title PADI Dive Resort. And in 2023 we became 5star Dive Resort. PADI is the biggest certifying diving agency in the world and we are very proud to be the best PADI certified shop on Langkawi. (S25081)

And we were so happy when PADI offered us an award for "Outstanding contribution to entry level training" in our 4th year of operating.

We received a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor 3 years in a row. To all who gave us raving reviews: Thank you very much! And we will keep working hard to deliver the same 5star service to all of our divers in the future.

Hi, my name is Warda (PADI 472140), I am Dutch and have been a PADI Dive Instructor since 2002. During my PADI Open Water Course in 2000, my instructor helped me overcome many problems and I believe his enthousiasme is the reason I am now an instructor.

I am very lucky that my hobby is also my job. Lucky that I get to take people on their first dive all the time. And lucky that I met such an amazing instructor (Dee) to share my life and our own business with.

Hi, I am Dee (PADI 482334). In 1993 I did my first dive and worked in the dive industry since then. I have been lucky enough to work as an instructor and dive amazing places in Thailand, Malaysia, Borneo, Indonesia and Philippines. While managing several divecenters over the years, I always dreamed of opening my own shop one day. I feel Warda and I are a good team, working hard but having a good time, but this is probably because we really love diving; We even dive on our holidays!

Captain Lee is a man of few words, but with a great sense of humor. We trust him completely to keep us safe on the boat and to help anyone in their equipment or in the water. He is great in spotting the dolphins and seems to know in advance where we come up from our dives: he will be waiting. Well, what do you expect from someone who has been driving boats for most of his life?
